With the increasing development of tourism and services, working in the culinary industry offers many development opportunities and the possibility of a higher income than other occupations.

A range of activities have been carried out to promote and recover Vietnam’s tourism sector once the COVID-19 pandemic is fully controlled.

Hanoi has set itself a target to greet 35-39 million tourists by 2025, including 8-9 million foreigners, earning about VND151 trillion (US$6.53 billion), under the city’s recently-launched tourism development strategy with a view to 2030.

As the resurgence of COVID-19 in Vietnam has been basically brought under control, the tourism sector in the capital city of Hanoi has been swiftly making plans to attract visitors again and gradually return to previous levels of growth.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien has called on the tourism sector to achieve the dual goal of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and developing socio-economy in the current context.
