A total of 120 young overseas Vietnamese (OVs) from across 17 countries and territories worldwide paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien special national relic site in the late leader’s hometown in the central province of Nghe An’s Nam Dan district on July 25, as part of their Vietnam Summer Camp 2023.

Vietnam Summer Camp 2022, which brought together more than 100 young Vietnamese expats aged 16-24 from 25 countries and territories, wrapped up in the city of Vung Tau in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on August 2.

The People’s Committee of central Quang Binh province held a gathering on July 25 with the young overseas Vietnamese (OVs) taking part in the Vietnam Summer Camp 2022.

The Vietnam Summer Camp 2022, an annual event organised by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for outstanding overseas Vietnamese (OV) youths around the world, kicked off in Vinh city, central Nghe An province, on July 22.

Deputy head of the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOV) Mai Phan Dung has expressed his hope that each young Vietnamese living abroad will act as an “Ambassador” helping boost Vietnam’s cooperation with foreign individuals and organisations.

VOV.VN - After two years of postponement due to COVID-19, the Vietnam Summer Camp 2022 for young overseas Vietnamese will be held from July 19 to August 3 by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The 8th summer camp of Vietnamese youth in Europe “Vietheart Summer Camp 2022” will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic, on August 18-21, heard a press conference held by the Vietnam youth and student associations in the country on May 22.
