Party General Secretary To Lam on January 19 hosted a reception for 100 overseas Vietnamese (OV) representatives from more than 40 countries and territories, who are in Vietnam to attend the 2025 “Xuan Que huong” (Homeland Spring) organised by the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV).

A ceremony was held in Moscow, Russia, on January 7 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnam Students’ Association (VSA) (January 9, 1950 - 2025), and review the association's activities in the Eurasian nation.
