U17 Hanoi competes in K-League International Youth Cup Incheon 2025

VOV.VN - The U17 Hanoi football team, led by head coach Pham Minh Duc, has arrived in the Republic of Korea (RoK) to compete in the K-League International Youth Cup Incheon 2025, taking place from October 24-30.

The tournament serves as a valuable warm-up for the team ahead of the upcoming 2026 U19 National Championship.

According to the draw, U17 Hanoi is placed in Group B alongside strong opponents including U17 Gamba Osaka of Japan, U17 KAA Gent of Belgium, U17 Seongnam, U17 Pohang Steelers, and U17 Bupyeong High School of the RoK.

In their opening match at 12:00 on October 24, U17 Hanoi will take on U17 KAA Gent, the club where Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne began his youth career from 1999 to 2005.

First launched in 2023, the K-League International Youth Cup, now in its third edition, is co-organized by the Korea Professional Football League (KPFL) and the Incheon Metropolitan City Football Association, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO), and Incheon Metropolitan City.

The tournament features 12 teams divided into two groups of six (Groups A and B), with each team playing five group-stage matches. The top team from each group will advance to the final
