Japanese precision chemistry firm Fujifilm Corp. is planning to expand its production facilities in Vietnam to make SARS-CoV-2 antigen test kits to serve the global markets.
Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long and World Health Organisation (WHO) representative in Vietnam Kidong Park on December 3 co-chaired a health partnership meeting in Hanoi titled “Health Partnerships and Cooperation in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
Vietnam is willing to share with South Africa its research and production of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 test kit so that the two nations could together overcome the pandemic, said a Vietnamese official at a virtual discussion which gathered leaders and experts of the two nations’ military medical corps.
