VOV.VN - Chairman of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) He Dongfeng and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh have expressed support for stronger ties between the Chinese aircraft manufacturer and Vietnamese airlines.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha received Tan Wangeng, Director of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) in Hanoi on January 15.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) said on September 20 asked the Ministry of Transport for permission to conduct procedures to allow Boeing 737 Max aircraft to fly to/from Vietnam’s territory, and to grant certificates for this type of aircraft to be imported into Vietnam.
