Vietnam hold Kazakhstan to draw, clinch 6-3 aggregate win in futsal friendlies

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s national futsal team played out a 2-2 draw with world No. 7 Kazakhstan in the second leg of their international friendly series on April 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, sealing an impressive 6-3 aggregate victory.

Kazakhstan took the lead in the first half with two quick goals in the 10th and 12th minutes, a brilliant volley from a corner kick and a sharp finish from a tight angle.

Vietnam pulled one back before the break thanks to a powerful strike from Dinh Cong Vien.

After the interval, the hosts pushed forward with greater determination and were rewarded when Manh Dung netted the equaliser, finishing off a well-placed assist from Thinh Phat.

The 2-2 draw wrapped up a successful two-game series for Vietnam, who had earlier beaten the visitors 4-1 in the first leg.
