Hue, the host of the Visit Vietnam Year and Hue Festival 2025, is set to transform into a vibrant tourism destination as it sketched out special plans for the events to showcase the central city's rich cultural heritage and captivate attractions to domestic and international travellers.

The People’s Committee of the central city of Hue on January 1 announced the organisation of the Visit Vietnam Year 2025 and the Hue Festival 2025.

Various activities have been planned for the “Visit Vietnam Year – Hue 2025” hosted by the central province of Thua Thien-Hue under the theme “Hue- Ancient Capital – New Opportunity”.

Up to 300 photos on world heritage, historical relic sites and landscapes across Vietnam are on display at an exhibition that opened in the northwestern province of Dien Bien on April 20.

The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) Hanoi 2024, slated to take place from April 11-14 under the theme "Vietnam tourism - Green transition for sustainable development," is said to closely follow a new global trend of "Net zero tours" which promotes sustainable tourism and reduces negative impacts on the environment.

Visit Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024, themed “Glorious Dien Bien – Infinite Experiences” is expected to be a leverage to boost the local socio-economy, contributing to promoting the country's tourism development, Vice Chairman of the Dien Bien provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang has said.

In association with the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 – 2024), Visit Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024 is expected to bring endless experiences to tourists, heard a press conference in Hanoi on February 21.

The south-central province of Binh Thuan held the closing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 in Phan Thiet city on December 27 evening.

The People’s Committee of Binh Thuan, which hosts the Visit Vietnam Year 2023, is implementing a project on ensuring security and safety in tourism activities, with an aim to make the south-central province a safe, friendly and quality destination.

The Visit Vietnam Year 2023, themed “Binh Thuan - Green Convergence”, will be opened with a ceremony in Phan Thiet city on March 25.
