The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia (January 30, 1950). The traditional friendship between the two nations has been steadily elevated to a Strategic Partnership in 2001 and a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2012.
In the time ahead, with support from the Russian Consulate General in Da Nang, cooperation between the city and Russian localities is expected to strengthen further, creating new opportunities for economic, cultural, and educational exchanges and people-to-people exchange.
This visit by ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet contributes to enhancing the traditional friendship, mutual trust, and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. It also underscores Da Nang’s growing diplomatic role and helps promote the city’s image as a vibrant destination to international friends.
