The Education for Nature Vietnam (ENV) said as many as 157 wild animals were saved thanks to notice from residents via its hotline in May.
The Centre for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Wild Animals of the Bu Gia Map National Park in the southern province of Binh Phuoc has recently coordinated with forest rangers to return four rare animals to nature.
On the occasion of World Wildlife Day on March 3, the non-governmental organisation Education for Nature Vietnam (ENV) launched a short film called “Su lua chon sang suot” (A smart choice), to promote the use of modern medicine instead of the consumption of products from wild animals to treat ailments.
