Vietnamese Garden inaugurated at Asia-Pacific Museum in Poland
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Garden, a unique cultural space within the Asia-Pacific Museum in Warsaw, Poland, was inaugurated on June 25, as part of the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Week in Poland.

The garden is designed to introduce an authentic Vietnamese cultural ambiance to the Polish public and international visitors through traditional landscape elements such as bamboo groves, winding paths, and native materials. Together, they form a vivid symbol of Vietnamese spirit and cultural identity in the heart of Europe.
In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong stressed that the garden is not merely a landscape project, but a living symbol of Vietnam’s cultural depth and identity.
It bridges art, architecture, and humanistic values, helping to share the image of a warm, welcoming, and culturally rich Vietnam with the world, said the official.
The Vietnamese Garden, alongside the museum’s extensive collection of Vietnamese artefacts, significantly enriches the representation of Vietnamese culture in Poland and Europe.
The inauguration ceremony is a key highlight in the series of activities commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland (1950 - 2025).
Established in 1973, the Asia-Pacific Museum is the only museum in Poland and one of the few in Europe dedicated to the cultures, arts, and daily life of countries in Asia and the Pacific. It currently houses around 25,000 artefacts from over 40 countries, including religious objects, fine arts, handicrafts, costumes, musical instruments, and household items.
Vietnam boasts one of the largest and most distinguished national collections at the museum, featuring tuồng (classical drama) masks, traditional musical instruments, folk paintings, and Buddhist statues.
