The recent debut of the Vietnam-EU e-commerce platform (VEFTA) is expected to boost Vietnam’s exports to the EU market, experts have said.

Vietnam will announce to the UK side its ratification of the UK-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) this month, so the deal can officially come into force from May 1.

Since its entry into force on August 1, the European Union (EU) – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has brought first successes, reflected by the strong growth of Vietnam’s exports to the EU in recent months and opened significant opportunities for sustainable development in bilateral trade.
