World Police Music Festival 2025 kicks off in Hanoi
VOV.VN - The World Police Music Festival 2025 opened at the Hoan Kiem pedestrian zone in Hanoi on August 9, attracting large crowds of locals and tourists.
Organised by the Ministry of Public Security, the festival marks two major milestones, including the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces as well as the 20th anniversary of All People's Day for National Security Protection.
The festival aims to promote artistic and cultural exchange while enhancing global understanding of causes such as national identity, social values, and the missions of law enforcement agencies, particularly the Vietnamese People's Police and their counterparts worldwide.
Attending the opening ceremony is Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Minister of Public Security Gen. Luong Tam Quang; Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Sen. Lieu. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc; along with many leaders and international guests.

This year’s festival brings together nine music bands and one drum troupe from Russia, Japan, China, Laos, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam.
Each troupe brings its own musical style, both honouring traditions and showcasing the image of its country’s law enforcement force to international friends.

In addition to the performances put on by the music troupes, the event also features demonstrations of the Mobile Police Command’s cavalry unit and precision motorcade performances held by officers from the Guard Command and the Traffic Police Department.
The Traffic Police force also attends the opening ceremony.
The cavalry unit attracts plenty of attention from the public.
Well-trained horses move gracefully through the streets in unison.
The festival culminates with a grand wind instrument concert at the Ho Guom Theatre on the evening of August 10, bringing together all participating bands in a shared celebration of music and unity.
