VOV.VN - The United States Department of Commerce (DOC) recently announced the final results of the 17th period of review (POR17) for Vietnamese tra and basa fish (pangasius) exported to the US market from August 1, 2019, to July 31, 2020.

Tra fish prices have hit a new high since 2019, but insiders are concerned that high prices do not bode well for farmers.

The Tra fish industry aims to earn U$1.6 billion from tra fish export, and produce between 1.6 – 1.7 million tonnes of tra fish products in 2022, according to Nhu Van Can, head of the Aquaculture Department of the Directorate of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
