The export of Vietnamese tra fish (pangasius) has roared back to growth after a significant drop recorded earlier this year as countries have scaled up their imports, according to insiders.

The Vietnam Trade Office in Algeria and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Algeria’s Annaba province have recently held a seminar to introduce the potential for trade and investment partnerships between the two countries.

Vietnam’s fisheries exports generated nearly US$2 billion in revenue from January – March, up 8% year-on-year, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
