VOV.VN - Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on July 17 announced a decision to donate cash and medical supplies to help Vietnam respond to COVID-19 in the context of Ho Chi Minh City facing the most difficult time trigged by the ravaging pandemic.

The Government should have more long-term policies and packages supporting and aiding businesses to recover from the impacts of COVID-19, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has said.

Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP takes important steps towards expanding the coverage and effectiveness of Government relief packages in Vietnam by including new categories of workers to the beneficiaries of government support, and lowering the administrative burden imposed to beneficiaries.

The 2021 Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industry Exhibition (SIE) and the Vietnam Manufacturing Expo (VME) will be held from September 15-17 with both onsite at the Viet Xo (Vietnam-Russia) Friendship Cultural Palace and online via the VME website.

Both employees and employers that are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can gain access to the Government’s support package worth VND26 trillion (US$1.13 billion) from July 8.
