Vietnam to host first international railway technology exhibition

VOV.VN - The first International Exhibition and Summit on Modern Railway Technology and Infrastructure Supply Chain in Vietnam (VRT&CON’2025) will be held at Vietnam Exposition Centre, Hanoi, from November 12-15.

Marking the largest event of its kind in Vietnam’s railway sector, VRT&CON’2025 aims to promote public–private partnerships, advance technology transfer, and accelerate the modernisation of the country’s transportation infrastructure.

The four-day event will bring together key stakeholders from across the sector, including government agencies, construction and manufacturing companies, EPC contractors, research institutes, financial institutions, and international partners.

Spanning over 5,000 square metres, the exhibition is expected to attract about100 domestic and international enterprises from the UK, France, Germany, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and China.

On display will be 200 booths showcasing specialised products, technologies, and equipment.

A comprehensive agenda will accompany the exhibition, including high-level conferences, policy–business dialogues, B2B networking sessions, strategic partnership signings, technology showcases, and a public experience day.

According to the Vietnam Railway Authority, VRT&CON’2025 is designed as a multidimensional platform connecting the Government, businesses, and industry experts. The event will support technology transfer, equipment localisation, and supply chain development in the railway sector. It offers a gateway for Vietnamese companies to access advanced technologies and align with international standards, especially for key projects like the North–South high-speed railway.

Beyond its technical focus, VRT&CON’2025 is also positioned as a venue for policy engagement and market connectivity, helping local businesses improve competitiveness and integrate more deeply into global supply chains.

VRT&CON’2025 is expected to draw around 10,000 visitors.
