VOV.VN - Domestic petrol prices reached new highs following adjustments by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on May 11.

VOV.VN - The retail price of petrol witnessed an increase of more than VND300/litre as of 3 p.m. on May 4 following the latest adjustments made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The consumer price index (CPI) in April rose 0.18% over the previous month and 2.64% year on year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has proposed the Government cut the most favoured nation (MFN) tariff on unleaded petrol from the current rate of 20% to 12%.
