The street landed in the top 10 and is one of only three Asian streets to make the cut.

Stretching roughly a kilometer, Vinh Khanh was officially designated a food street in 2018. Today, it’s famous for its long rows of seafood grill restaurants that light up both sides of the road.

According to Time Out, the street is packed from sunset onward, with many eateries doubling as lively beer bars - a favorite hangout for the city’s trendsetters and office workers alike.

“Vinh Khanh is designed so you spend the whole evening in its briny embrace: street sellers pitch up selling dried squid for a pre-dinner snack and ice cream for dessert, and buskers perform in the middle of the road as motorbikes sashay around them. Clattering woks, clinking glasses and kerbside karaoke all vie for soundtrack supremacy”, it noted.

Other streets rounding out Time Out’s top 10 include Rua do Senado in Rio de Janeiro, Orange Street in Osaka, Rua do Bonjardim in Porto, Fanghua Street in Chengdu, Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal, Montague Road in Brisbane, Maybachufer in Berlin, Olympou Street in Thessaloniki, and Orchard Street in New York City.
