Vietnam has enjoyed an increase in exports via e-commerce in recent years, with many micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are in a prime position to reap significant benefits from the rapid growth of the e-commerce sector.

An international workshop discussing opportunities to connect and expand markets for Vietnamese exports via cross-border e-commerce partnership with Amazon was jointly held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on September 14.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on September 12 said that Vietnam wants to join world-leading retailers like Walmart in forming comprehensive inclusive sustainable ecosystems with long-term commitment to benefit sharing in the consumer goods supply chain.
