For the first time, people and tourists will have opportunities to fly directly from Vietnam to Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat state in western India, by two routes of Vietjet from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with four return flights per route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Visitors from the Republic of Korea (RoK) make up the largest proportion among the top 10 tourism markets to Vietnam, according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Vietnamese carrier Bamboo Airways operated first flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Melbourne in Australia on February 19-20.

Bamboo Airways plans to gradually increase the frequency of regular international flights from the beginning of 2022, after receiving the permission from the Government.

Bamboo Airways’ first flight on its direct route between Vietnam and the US landed in San Francisco, the US, on September 23 (local time) after 13 hours and 36 minutes of nonstop flight.
