VOV.VN - Vietnam's ASEAN Chairmanship Year has come to an end, with the nation successfully leading the association through a challenging year whilst striving to enhance its role in the region

The first ‘Vietnamese children reaching out to the world’ programme, themed ASEAN identities, presented two first, seven second and 14 third prizes as part of its awards ceremony held in the northern province of Bac Ninh on December 26 and 27.

With the success of the ASEAN Chairmanship Year 2020, Vietnam is not only an active ASEAN member but also a strong, trustworthy and special mainstay, especially at a time when ASEAN has to face challenges like COVID-19 pandemic at present, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
