Da Nang International Tourism Festival hosts over 6,000 B2B meetings

VOV.VN - More than 6,000 Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings between domestic and foreign travel companies have been registered during the two-day Da Nang International Tourism Festival 2025 that opened on October 16.

The festival attracted more than 300 international sellers, 110 buyers from key markets such as Thailand, the Republic of Korea, China, Japan, Russia, India, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries and Western Europe. The event also saw the presence of 180 domestic travel companies and nearly 2,000 representatives of travel companies, hotels, restaurants, and service providers.

A highlight of this year’s festival is the B2B Buyers Meet Sellers space, one of the largest B2B events in Vietnam, facilitating direct trade connections in the tourism industry. As of the morning of October 16, the festival had already registered 6,000 meetings, highlighting Da Nang's growing appeal on the regional tourism stage.

According to Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, 2025 is a pivotal year for the Vietnamese tourism sector as the country aims to attract 25 million international visitors. The festival is part of this larger strategy, showcasing the tourism business community's innovation and unity.

During the two-day festival, seminars will be held to attract visitors and develop new tourism products.

Among them are those focused on attracting Russian and CIS tourists in 2026 and strategies for expanding Da Nang’s tourism offerings.
