VOV.VN - National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will provide approximately nine million seats on both domestic and international routes during the coming peak summer travel season.

With summer vacation approaching and travel demand surging, Vietnamese airlines are ramping up capacity, particularly on popular routes connecting to tourist destinations.

Vietnam Airlines Group, which comprises Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO), has announced that to meet demand in the summer travel season, it will offer more than 7.3 million seats on domestic and international routes from June 1 to August 8.

More than ten days after the official reopening of Vietnam’s tourism sector, localities and businesses are putting all hands on deck to prepare for the summer travel season and revive the industry.
