Lao Cai International Tourism Fair 2025 to open in June

VOV.VN - The Lao Cai International Tourism Fair will be held at Dinh Le Square in the northern mountainous city of Lao Cai from June 5 to 8, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Opening with the theme of “Lao Cai Tourism-Connecting Green Aspiration”, the 5,000 square-metrefair will attract the participation of 130 local and international booths.

The fair will offer an opportunity for tourism service businesses operating in Vietnam and foreign countries to promote their high-quality products and services,thereby contributing developing the tourism market, said Tran Son Binh, deputy director of the Lao Caiprovincial Culture, Sports and Tourism Department.

The event will also help to introduce the culture, people, and landscapes of Lao Cai in particular and Vietnam in general to international friends, added the official. 

Within the framework of the fair, the organising board will invite tourism enterprises from Yunnan province of China, as well as the embassies of China, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Japan, India, France, Malaysia, and Australia in Vietnam to connect and cooperate with localities to effectively exploit domestic and international tourist markets.
