VOV.VN - The Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam on July 17 reviewed and imposed disciplinary measures on several Party members, following proposals from the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.

The Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat met on November 20 to consider disciplinary actions against Party organisations and members found to have committed violations.

The 45th meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission took place in Hanoi on August 7 and 8, chaired by Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the commission.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission held its 42nd meeting from June 12-14, during which it proposed disciplinary measures against a number of Party organisations and members for violating Party regulations.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission scruntinised violations of and proposed disciplinary actions be taken against officials of the Party Committees of Vinh Phuc and Quang Ngai provinces, at its 38th session in Hanoi on March 18.

The Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat on July 28 imposed disciplinary measures on the Standing Boards of the Party Committee of Thanh Hoa in the 2010-2015 and 2015-2020 tenures, and a number of the central province’s former leaders for violating the Party’s regulations and State laws.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has signed a decision to impose a disciplinary measure of warning on Mai Tien Dung, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee and former Minister-Chairman of the Government Office for his violations and shortcomings in his work.

The Politburo has decided to give stern criticism of Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and demand him to make serious self-criticism, learn from lessons and promptly direct remedy for violations and mistakes at the Foreign Ministry and report to the Politburo.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission considered disciplinary measures against Party organisations and members for wrongdoings during its 17th session in Hanoi on July 13 and 14.
