The Vietnam Club at the Moscow State Linguistic University (MGLU) of Russia has organised a special course, attracting most of the students of the Vietnamese language from universities in Moscow to discuss about “Tet” (the Lunar New Year) festival.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association in the country and the Moscow State Linguistics University, on September 7 held a Vietnamese language festival to honour and promote the learning of this language in Russia.

The Moscow State Linguistic University, known as Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages (MGLU), on May 24 organised the Vietnam Day to mark the 133rd birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh.
