The world is undergoing fundamental and epochal changes, making the Vietnam – China friendship more important than ever in promoting relations between the peoples of the two countries and contributing to peace and stability in the region and beyond.

The first Vietnam–Russia People’s Forum wrapped up in Hanoi on October 1 after nearly two days of discussions, marking a milestone in celebrations of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Politburo member Do Van Chien had a meeting with the Russian delegation who are in Vietnam for the first Vietnam – Russia People’s Forum on October 1, during which he highlighted the event as a meaningful one to deepen the friendship between the two countries while opening up new ways for people-to-people diplomacy.
