Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on August 31 signed official dispatch No. 1108/CD-TTg on strengthening COVID-19 prevention and control during the country's National Day holiday (September 2).

State employees and workers will be given seven days off during the forthcoming Lunar New Year holiday or Tet holiday from February 10 to 16, 2021— five days for the holiday from February 10 to 14 and two more days as compensation.
