Vietnam’s banks are bracing for a new wave of debt recovery as Resolution No 42/2017/QH14 is codified into the amended Law on Credit Institutions, with analysts warning that the full benefits will only be visible from the second half of 2026.

VOV.VN - The Office of the President on February 19 announced the President’s decision to promulgate the amended Land Law and the amended Law on Credit Institutions which was passed by the National Assembly at its recent extraordinary session.

The National Assembly (NA) will consider the approval of the draft amended Land Law and the draft amended Law on Credit Institutions – the two extremely important bills – at its fifth extraordinary session scheduled to take place next week.
