VOV.VN - Two global icons - Ricardo Kaka and Luis Figo - arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on November 7 for a Legends Match, a special game held as part of the FC Pro Festival 2025 organised by EA Sports FC Online Vietnam.
The event is taking place from November 7 to 9 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City, featuring world football legends alongside famous Vietnamese players. The Legends Match, set for November 8, is expected to deliver unforgettable and emotional moments for fans.
Two Ballon d’Or winners - Luis Figo (2000), a Portuguese football icon, and Ricardo Kaka (2007), one of the finest attacking midfielders of his generation - will captain the two teams.
Kaka’s team will feature Vietnamese football legends such as Le Cong Vinh, Le Tan Tai, Dang Phuong Nam, and Pham Nhu Thuan. Meanwhile, Figo’s team will include Nguyen Hong Son, Pham Van Quyen, Vu Nhu Thanh, and Nguyen The Anh, representing the golden era of Vietnamese football.
Both Kaka and Figo once played for Real Madrid, and their presence in Vietnam is expected to bring special excitement and nostalgia to local fans.
Since retiring, Kaka has focused on film production and charity work, notably through his project “Desafio do Fred”, while frequently appearing at sports and esports events worldwide. Figo, meanwhile, has turned to business ventures and serves as an ambassador for various global organisations and charity initiatives.
Beyond the Legends Match, FC Pro Festival 2025 also hosts thrilling eSports competitions for FC Online and FC Mobile, gathering professional players, content creators, and top gamers from across the globe. Vietnam’s representatives, Do Mixi and Cris Devil Gamer, are expected to deliver dynamic and entertaining performances for fans.
Launched in 2018 (formerly known as FIFA Online 4), FC Online is Vietnam’s leading online football game, officially licensed with hundreds of clubs and world-famous players. The game previously brought legendary figures such as Ruud Gullit (November 2024) and Diego Forlan (July 2025) to Vietnam for fan events.
