Japan’s Wakayama prefecture has committed to creating favourable conditions for local enterprises to invest in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka said on November 1.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on September 7 held a dialogue with Japanese economic groups and businesses interested in expanding investment in Vietnam.

About 280 leaders of Japanese enterprises took part in an online investment promotion conference held on August 26 to introduce the southern province of Binh Duong’s industrial capacity and potential.
