Petrol prices drop to below VND20,000 per litre in latest adjustment
VOV.VN - The retail prices of oil and petrol were adjusted down to below VND20,000 per litre as of 3 p.m. on November 27 following a decision made by the Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The latest changes saw the retail price of RON95-III fall by VND540 to a maximum level of VND20,000 per litre, while the ceiling price of E5 RON92 was cut by VND520 to VND19,280 per litre.
Meanwhile, E10 biofuel recorded a notable decrease as its price fell by VND470 to VND19,650 per litre.
Diesel 0.05S was lowered by VND1,020 to VND18,800 per litre, and kerosene dropped VND810 to VND19,470 per litre. Mazut 180CST 3.5S also saw its maximum price cut by VND250 per kilogramme, to VND13,480.
Since the start of 2025, domestic petrol and oil prices have been adjusted 49 times, reflecting fluctuations in global markets. RON95-III and E5 RON92 have each seen roughly equal numbers of increases and decreases - 25 and 24 hikes and 24 and 25 cuts, respectively, while E10 biofuel has been adjusted seven times upward and nine times downward.
