The Government has just issued Resolution No 68 on a number of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, worth a total of VND26 trillion (US$1.13 billion).

The Japanese Business Association of Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH) has donated US$20,000 to Vietnam’s COVID-19 vaccine fund, an initiative aiming to provide enough vaccines for the inoculation of at least 75% of the country’s population.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland raised more than 32,500 CHF (US$35,395) for Vietnam’s COVID-19 prevention and control fund at an event held on June 21.
