Vietnam and China are negotiating to develop phytosanitary protocols for eight kinds of Vietnamese fruits exported to China.

The General Administration of Customs (GAC) of China has just approved the pilot import of Vietnamese passion fruits from July 1, according to the Vietnam Sanitary and Phytosanitary Notification Authority and Enquiry Point (SPS Vietnam).

The General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) on February 11 morning issued 1,601 codes for Vietnamese agricultural and food products serving their exports to the Chinese market.

Vietnamese businesses had 320 codes of agricultural and food products licensed to be exported to China as of 11am on December 24, according to the Vietnam Sanitary and Phytosanitary Notification Authority and Enquiry Point (SPS Vietnam).
