VOV.VN - China, the United States, and Japan continued to make up the three largest export markets for Vietnamese agricultural, forestry ,and fishery products in the opening seven months of the year, according to details given by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s rice export prices have continuously set new records over recent times and exceeded the US$550 per tonne mark following India's official ban placed on rice exports.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry's Import-Export Department urged rice exporters to ensure price stabilisation and food security in the domestic market after India restricted rice exports which is forecast to have a significant impact on the global rice market.

Although the export of goods has faced many difficulties, there have been encouraging signals in the past two months as enterprises and state management agencies have been actively implementing solutions to regain export momentum.

The rising demands for rice in international markets and higher prices are benefiting rice exporters as the number of orders has increased sharply.

Exports of cement and clinker products reached 14 million tonnes in the first six months of this year, a year-on-year decline of 15%. Export value is estimated at US$700 million.

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s rice export value rose by 34.7% year on year in the first six months of this year to reach US$2.3 billion, thanks to its high prices in the world market.

VOV.VN - Vietnam exported over 156,000 tonnes of pepper worth US$498 million during the first six months of this year, marking a rise of 26.6% in volume, but a drop of 11% in value over the same period from 2022, according to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

VOV.VN - Vietnam earned US$2.02 billion from shipping 3.9 million tonnes of rice abroad in the first five months of the year, marking year-on-year increases of 49% in value and 40.8% in volume, respectively.

VOV.VN - Vietnam ranked fourth among the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s five largest suppliers of rubber, according to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
