VOV.VN - Vietnam raked in US$1.15 billion from exporting approximately 681,000 tonnes of rubber in the first half of the year, with China continuing to increase rubber imports from the country, according to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Exports of cement and clinker reached an impressive figure of about 19.26 million tonnes in the first five months of this year, increasing by 50% over the same period last year.

Vietnam exported 428,000 tonnes of coffee worth US$771 million in the first quarter of 2021, down 17% in volume and 11.3% in value year on year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

Though the prices of Vietnamese 5% broken white rice fell US$20 per tonne in a week, most local rice exporters said the decline would make sales easier.
