VOV.VN - Vietnam has suggested that China should create favourable conditions to boost customs clearance for Vietnamese agricultural products stuck in border areas.
The agriculture sector has promoted trade successfully despite difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to expanding export markets and helping the country gain an impressive trade surplus of US$3.9 billion in the first seven months.
A consultation session about agricultural and seafood exports to Algeria and Senegal was held on August 11, with the participation of over 100 Vietnamese firms.
Vietnam exported US$10.61 billion worth of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first quarter of 2021, up 19.7% compared to the same period last year.
Vietnam’s exports of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries products grew 27.1% year-on-year to US$3.49 billion in January.
