Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued Decision No. 30/2025/QD-TTg, establishing new regulations for inter-agency coordination to prevent and combat the financing of activities that threaten Vietnam’s national security or are linked to terrorism.

The newly established Department of Anti-Money Laundering will operate under the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) from January 5 next year.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai on February 23 signed a decision promulgating the national action plan to implement the Government's commitment to prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing, and financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
