VOV.VN - Vietnam saw 128,200 new enterprises registered with total capital of VND1,254.5 trillion in the first eight months of 2025, marking a 15.7% increase in the number of businesses and a 26.1% rise in capital compared to the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Total capital injected into the economy in the first three months of the year—including additional capital from existing enterprises—reached nearly VND1.39 quadrillion, almost 2.1 times higher than the same period last year, reflecting a positive trend in business investment.

VOV.VN - As many as 49,800 companies were either newly established or resumed operations in the opening two months of the year, up 19.3% over the same period last year, the General Statistics Office (GSO) unveiled.

As many as 3,637 businesses in the capital city of Hanoi resumed operations in January, marking a substantial increase of 44% as compared to the previous month, data from the municipal Statistics Office showed.

A total of 76,179 enterprises resumed operations in Vietnam in 2024, according to the Agency for Business Registration under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Nearly 121,900 new enterprises were established with total registered capital of VND1.158 quadrillion (US$46.7 billion) in the first nine months of this year, figures released by the General Statistics Office (GSO) showed.

VOV.VN - About 13,400 new enterprises were established in August with a total registered capital of VND124.6 trillion, creating 71,800 new jobs, down by 12.8%, 16.2%, and 22.6% respectively compared to the same month last year.

VOV.VN - In the first half of the year, there were 80,500 newly-registered enterprises with a total registered capital of VND744.2 trillion and 512,000 new labourers, rising by 6.1%, 5.2%, and 0.4%, respectively, from the same period a year ago, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

A total of 98,825 enterprises were established or resumed operations in the first five months of 2024, up 4.1% over the same period of last year and 1.2 times higher than the average in the 2019-2023 period, according to the Department for Business Registration Management under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).

VOV.VN - As many as 51,550 enterprises were established during the first four months of this year, the highest recorded in history, the General Statistics Office (GSO) unveiled in its report released on April 29.
