Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation, on October 5 launched an emulation campaign to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure.

A peak emulation campaign to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing nationwide was launched in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang on August 12, aiming to promptly prevent fishing vessels and fishermen from encroaching foreign waters.

A 500-day emulation campaign for completing 3,000km of expressways was launched at a ceremony held in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on August 18.
