VOV.VN - Nearly 100 businesses from 18 provinces and cities across Vietnam will participate in the 21st Vietnam Craft Village Fair scheduled for October 9 to 13 in Hanoi.

The annual event, a highlight of Vietnam's agriculture and environment sector, aims to celebrate and promote the rich heritage of traditional craft villages while fostering investment, tourism, and economic development in rural areas.
The fair will feature 100 standard booths showcasing a diverse range of handicraft products from renowned craft villages.
Visitors can expect to see iconic items such as Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan wares, Chuong conical hats, Xuan La figurines, Lao ethnic brocade, Phu Khe and Dong Ho wood carvings, Phu Lang pottery, Dai Bai bronze works, Da Nang agarwood, rattan furniture, seashell crafts, Phu Xuyen leather shoes, Quy Chau bronze drums, and sedge mats from Dinh Yen, Dinh An and Long Dinh, among many others.
In addition to crafts, the fair will spotlight a variety of agricultural products that meet the national One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme standards of three stars or higher. These include premium items like ST25 rice, Cu Lao Cai lotus rice, Dien Bien jasmine rice, Cao Tua tea, Thai Nguyen tea, Dak Lak coffee, Chu rice noodles, and Lien Chung soy sauce. Many of these products hold geographical indication status or are recognized for their export potential and organic quality.
Beyond product showcases, the event serves as a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and business networking. It aims to foster innovation, improve product quality, and highlight the cultural values of Vietnam’s traditional industries. It also encourages linkages between local producers and international markets, supporting brand building and sustainable rural development in line with the country’s new rural programme.
The 2025 fair will feature several key side events, including the Lang Son OCOP Product and Agricultural Specialty Promotion Week, a seminar titled “F&B Trends in the International Tourism Industry”, and a Beverage Mixing Competition. These activities are designed to create opportunities for artisans, entrepreneurs, and investors to connect, share knowledge, and explore new avenues of collaboration.
