VOV.VN - Local budget airline VietJet has signed a new deal with Rolls-Royce to purchase 40 additional Trent 7000 engines to power its fleet of 20 Airbus A330neo wide-body aircraft.

Vietjet and Rolls-Royce, a renowned UK-based aerospace and engineering conglomerate, on July 24 entered into an agreement to supply 40 Trent 7000 engines along with TotalCare technical services for 20 new Airbus A330neo aircraft.

A delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence participated in DSEI Japan 2023, the only large-scale, fully integrated defence event in Japan, from March 14-17.

Vietjet and Rolls-Royce have inked a US$400 million contract to provide the Trent 700 engines and TotalCare®, Rolls-Royce’s technical and maintenance engine services, to power up to 10 A330 aircraft.
