Miss Ocean Vietnam 2025 launched with strong environmental focus

VOV.VN - The fifth edition of the Miss Ocean Vietnam pageant was officially launched at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City on June 16, with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and selecting Vietnam’s representative for the Miss Ocean World competition.

Eligible candidates must be unmarried women aged 18 and above, with a minimum height of 1.65 metres.

From the Top 40 finalists, the judging panel will select the Top 20, Top 15, Top 10, and ultimately the Top 5, along with one additional contestant chosen through an audience vote. The Top 10 finalists will deliver environmental-themed speeches and showcase their connection with nature.

The final round will take place from August 1 to 9 in southern Ninh Thuan province. The winner and four runners-up will be crowned during the grand finale, set to be held at Vinh Hy Bay, one of the province’s most renowned coastal destinations.

Miss Ocean Vietnam 2023 Tran Thi Thu Uyen and Vu Linh, fourth runner-up at Manhunt International 2025, will serve as ambassadors for this year’s pageant.

First held in 2014, the competition has previously crowned Dang Thu Thao (2014), Le Au Ngan Anh (2017), May Nguyen (2019), and Tran Thi Thu Uyen (2023).
