The 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits and related summits have affirmed the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)'s central role, while giving chances to the bloc to have a voice in regional and international issues, said Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to ASEAN.

The 21st ASEAN-India Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting was held via video conference on March 31, to review the implementation of activities and cooperation programmes within the framework of the ASEAN-India strategic partnership.
