VOV.VN - The prices of petrol and oil have been adjusted down by VND760 per litre at maximum following the latest joint adjustment by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade as of 3 p.m. on March 6.
Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 decreased by VND690 to VND19,960 per litre, while that of RON95-III, the commonly used petrol, dropped by VND710 to no more than VND20,400 per litre.

In the latest price adjustment cycle, the two ministries decided not to make use of the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund.
So far this year, petrol prices have undergone a total of 10 adjustments, including 5 rises and 5 declines of RON95-III petrol, and 6 rises and 4 declines of E5 RON 92 petrol.
Also, oil prices have experienced 6 times up and 4 times down.
Petrol and oil prices over the past week have fluctuated due to OPEC+'s decision to increase crude oil output in April, the US' impose of new tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada, China and retaliation from these countries, resulting in a fall in oil prices, according to experts.
