Kim Sang-sik announces Vietnam squad for FIFA Days in March
VOV.VN - Korean coach Kim Sang-sik on March 6 announced the 26-player squad for the Vietnam national team’s training camp during the FIFA Days in March 2025.

The gathering is to prepare for an international friendly match against Cambodia and the opening match of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers against Laos later this month.
Notably, strikers Nguyen Xuan Son and Nguyen Van Toan, and midfielder Ho Tan Tai were left out as they were still recovering from injuries sustained during the 2024 AFF Cup.
After struggling with form, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai was given another chance by Coach Kim.
The Korean manager also called up Midfielder Vo Hoang Minh Khoa for the first time following his impressive performances in the 2024 V-League season.
The 22-year-old player has made 14 appearances this season, scoring three crucial goals and securing his place in Binh Duong FC’s starting lineup.
This training camp provides the manager with an opportunity to experiment with new players and assess the team’s performance ahead of key international games.
Vietnam are scheduled to play friendly against Cambodia as part of FIFA Days on March 19 before taking on Laos in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers opener on Mach 25.
