The German state of Hessen stands ready to support and cooperate with Vietnam in developing international financial centres, particularly in training, consulting, and investment promotion, its Minister of Science and Research, Arts and Culture Timon Gremmels said on October 21.

VOV.VN - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception on November 14 in Hanoi for Kambiz Ghawami, president of World University Service (WUS) of Germany, during which the Vietnamese State leader applauded Ghwami’s contributions to promoting educational ties between the two nations, as well as Hessen state, over the years.

The World University Service (WUS) and authorities of Hessen state of Germany will provide scholarships worth EUR205,000 (US$230,625) to students of the Vietnamese-German University (VGU) who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
