Francophonie cooperation in sustainable agriculture, the Francophone community and the issue of food security, and sharing experiences on responding to climate change are the main topics of three discussion sessions within the framework of the Francophone Parliamentary Forum on sustainable agriculture, food security, and climate change adaptation, held in Can Tho on January 21.

During his working trip from September 30 to October 7, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam will attend the 19th Francophonie Summit in France and pay an official visit to the European country at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The official visit to France by Party General Secretary and President To Lam and his attendance at the 19th Francophonie Summit demonstrate Vietnam's strong bonds with the Francophone community and affirm that the country attaches importance to bilateral relations with the European country, said French Ambassdor to Vietnam Olivier Brochet.
Vietnam will continue contributing to realising the three key objectives of the Strategic Framework on Francophone Community Cooperation for the 2023-2030 period, said Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet.
The International Francophone Day (March 20) offers an opportunity for the Francophone community to honour its common values and the desire shared by French-speaking people to live and cooperate in cultural diversity.
