Tourism Gift Festival 2025 gets underway in Hanoi
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival opened in the capital city on April 11, aiming to promote the city’s tourism and handicraft products whilst honouring the values of national cultural heritage.

The event themed "Hanoi Tourism – A World Heritage Destination" is part of activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification and also to respond to the National Tourism Year 2025.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Dang Huong Giang, director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, underscored the importance of the festival in honouring and preserving the values of cultural heritages and attracting more tourists, thereby further enhancing Hanoi's brand as a prominent cultural destination in the region and globally.
The festival also provides an ideal platform for management agencies, associations, craft villages, tourism firms, artisans, and individuals to get involved in the tourism product supply chain across the capital and other localities.

This initiative is aimed at introducing destinations, tourism products, and services of Hanoi and Vietnam to both domestic and international tourists, so as to strengthen connections between tourism and culture.
The festival featured more than 80 booths from famous tourist destinations and craft villages in Hanoi and other localities nationwide.
Moreover, there are spaces set up to introduce tourism products, traditional cultural performances, and the capital’s intangible culture recognised by UNESCO, along with diverse interactive activities.
